Quick Install

Run our installer script to automatically set up Fabric, mods, and everything you need.

Choose your download

Installer Recommended Portable No installation needed

After download: Run the installer or extract the portable version, then launch and hit Play!

After download: Extract the archive with tar -xzf, then launch and hit Play!

What does the installer do? It downloads and installs Fabric, Fabric API, Sodium (for better performance), and the Minescape mod. Java 21 will be installed automatically if needed (Windows only).

Download & Install Fabric

Fabric is a lightweight mod loader for Minecraft. Download the installer and run it.

  • Run the Fabric Installer you downloaded
  • Select Minecraft Version: 1.21.1 (or the version specified)
  • Leave "Create profile" checked
  • Click Install

Download the Minescape Modpack

Grab our modpack containing everything you need to play.

Install the Mods

Extract the modpack and move the mods to your Minecraft mods folder.

  • Extract the downloaded .zip file
  • Open your Minecraft folder:
    • Windows: Press Win + R, type %appdata%\.minecraft and press Enter
    • macOS: Open Finder, press Cmd + Shift + G, type ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft
    • Linux: Open ~/.minecraft
  • Open (or create) the mods folder
  • Copy all the .jar files from the extracted folder into the mods folder

Launch Minecraft with Fabric

Open the Minecraft Launcher and select the Fabric profile.

  • Open the Minecraft Launcher
  • Click the profile dropdown (bottom-left)
  • Select fabric-loader-1.21.1 (or similar)
  • Click Play

Join the Server

Once Minecraft loads, add our server and start playing!

  • Click Multiplayer
  • Click Add Server
  • Enter server address: play.minescape.gg
  • Click Done, then join the server
That's it! You're ready to start your adventure in Minescape. See you in-game!
