The Minescape Code of Conduct was last updated on December 26th, 2024.

These rules are the foundation of the Minescape community and exist to keep it a fun and welcoming place for everyone. Please understand the spirit in which these rules are written and don't try to look for loopholes — staff holds the final say.

1.

Don't Cheat

Using any third-party utilities, exploits, bugs, or loopholes to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Hacked clients, macro programs, or auto-clickers
  • Exploiting bugs or glitches instead of reporting them
  • Using bots or automation scripts
  • Any modification that gives you an unfair advantage over other players
2.

One Account Per Person

Your account represents you and only you. Creating multiple accounts harms fair play, especially on leaderboards and in competitive content.

  • Do not create alternate accounts
  • Do not share your account with others
  • Do not use someone else's account
  • If you believe your account was compromised, contact staff immediately

Sharing Devices

It's totally fine to share a computer or device with family members — just make sure everyone uses their own account!

3.

Be Respectful

Treat everyone with respect. We're all here to have fun and enjoy the game together.

  • No harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse
  • No hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language
  • No excessive toxicity or intentional griefing
  • No spamming or flooding chat
4.

Keep It Clean

Minescape is a community for players of all ages. Keep content appropriate.

  • No NSFW content, links, or discussions
  • No inappropriate usernames or skins
  • No sharing personal information (yours or others')
  • No advertising other servers or services
5.

Don't Scam

Any attempt to deceive or defraud other players is not tolerated.

  • Honor your trades and agreements
  • No phishing, social engineering, or impersonation
  • No fake giveaways or misleading offers
  • No real-world trading (RWT) of in-game items or currency
6.

Don't Evade Punishments

If you've been muted, banned, or otherwise restricted, accept it and wait it out or appeal properly.

  • Do not create new accounts to bypass bans
  • Do not use VPNs or proxies to evade IP restrictions
  • Do not have others act on your behalf while restricted

Appeals

Think your punishment was unfair? You can submit an appeal through our Discord. Be honest and respectful in your appeal.

7.

Listen to Staff

Our moderators and admins are here to help keep the community safe and fun. Please cooperate with them.

  • Follow instructions from staff members
  • Do not impersonate staff
  • Do not argue with moderation decisions in public — use appeals
  • Report rule breakers instead of taking matters into your own hands
